Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil)recognized its outstanding employees who exemplify the nation\'s innovative fuel and lubricants marketing company\'s commitment to world-class customer care at the second annual CEO Award of Excellence. First introduced in 2011, the Award aims to inspire employees to competitively apply new disciplines in the field across all areas of operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Originated and spearheaded by CEO Eng. Omar bin Ahmed Qatan, the Awardmirrors omanoil\'sholistic corporate culture of excellence which is founded on thepillar of first-rate customer service that goes above and beyond established standards. During the Award ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Muscat, winners of the various categories were presented with certificates, trophies and special gifts in recognition of their successes and efforts. Winners of the 2011 CEO Award of Excellence are Corporate Affairs & Lubricants for Best Team, omanoil Hail Farq Filling Station for Best Filling Station, Abdulaziz Al Farsi for Best Individual Staff Member and Wisam BintJaiferAl Said for the CEO Award for Best Manager.
The CEO Award of Excellence is a celebration of staff achievements and contributions toward the company\'slong-term objectives. omanoil has established a specialized \'CEO Award Committee\' which is comprised of Senior Management representatives who are in charge of assessing all entries and subsequent nominees based on department-specific targets. At the end of each year, a Customer Service \'Ambassador\' will also be appointed with the responsibility of promoting best practices for the entire year.
