Under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, and marking Omani Youth Day, Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) has been recognised for supporting the initiatives undertaken by The Youth Center to empower Omani youth. These initiatives focus on youth engagement and are aligned with OOMCO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy that focuses on Education and Youth Development, Quality of Life in Communities and Health, and aligns with the Oman Vision 2040.
Through its CSR initiatives, OOMCO launched and supported various charitable, educational, and environmental events and initiatives to add value to the youth and local communities across Oman. Earlier this year, in cooperation with the Youth Center, the company launched Tmakon, a CSR programme to empower young Omanis to reach their full potential as emerging entrepreneurs and to promote freelancing. OOMCO has also supported initiatives that focus on the creation of school environments conducive to the physical and mental health of students, which boosts their educational achievements.
