Expected to attract more than 70,000 visitors
Oman Oil Marketing Company is a proud sponsor of this year’s Winter Village, expanding its signature service station ‘Ahlain’ experience to a one-of-a-kind seasonal attraction for visitors of all ages. Hosted at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) until the 1st of December, the event is expected to attract more than 70,000 visitors and encompasses breathtaking spectacles, mesmerizing performances and fun-filled entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
“We are excited to be transporting the inspiring and enriching experiences of our Ahlain stores to the thousands of visitors of this year’s Winter Village,” said Ali Muqaibal, General Manager of Strategy, Business Development, Marketing and Digital at Oman Oil Marketing Company. “We are committed to bring communities together and are happy to be doing our part in promoting an event in which families can spend quality time with loved ones.”
For 10 consecutive days, the Ahlain booth in the Winter Village is hosting daily competitions for kids, challenging their creativity. Daily winners will be announced where participants will get the chance to win one of the three mega-prizes, including a Lego pack, Huawei Tablet and a PS4 console.
Now in its second year, highlights include an exhilarating arrangement of fun-packed shows and activities, a snow tubing slide, ice skating rink, snowball fun zone, winter maze, and fairground rides. The Ahlain Winter Village also features food chalets with popular mouth-watering treats and seasonal delights as well as a winter souq that showcases products and services from enthusiastic entrepreneurs and local SMEs. For the first time ever in Oman, an open-air, drive-in cinema will be screening a line-up of family favorites, action-packed blockbusters and golden oldies.
