Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) recently appointed Hussain Abdullatif Al Balushi as Acting General Manager of Human Resources and Administration, Corporate Services, Customer Service and Procurement. During his four year tenure at omanoil, Al Balushi quickly ascended the ranks from Manager of Management Accounting, Value Management and Business Development to Senior Financial Manager. He will now be responsible for making decisions on projects and procedures that will add value to the company and its people. He will also efficiently implement best practices and align the departments to successfully achieve the company\'s strategic goals.

With a Higher National Diploma in Business Administration from South Devon College in the United Kingdom, Al Balushi began his career at what was formally known as the Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water as the Executive Secretary to the Undersecretary. He then shaped his robust financial background during his eight years at KPMG as a Senior Assurance Associate where he was responsible for planning and implementing audits. His performance led to him being named \'People Management Leader\' among Senior Managers and Partners. A member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK, a global body for professional accountants, Al Balushi brought his wealth of experience to omanoil in 2008 and has ever since played an instrumental role in developing and achieving the company\'s corporate strategic plan.
