As part of its commitment to support the social development of people in the Sultanate, Oman Oil Marketing Company launched the third edition of its Ata’a campaign. Guided by the theme ‘Together We Give More’, the campaign, which will last from the 10th-20th of Ramada, will earmark 10% of all sales collected from select ahlain stores in the Governorates of Muscat, Al Batinah, Al Sharqiyah, Ad Dakhiliyah and Dhofar for charity.
Jaber Al Busaidi, Corporate Affairs Manager at Oman Oil Marketing Company, said, “For the past two years, the Ata’a campaign has enjoyed landmark success with customers by offering them an opportunity to enrich the lives of those in need. It has become a core part of our Ramadan, a way to spread its values of kindness and compassion for others. We invite our valued customers to join us once again and play a part in helping a worthy cause with every purchase they make.”
He added, “We pride ourselves on caring beyond the pump and prioritizing the needs of all the communities we serve. Every donation made is an investment towards social and economic growth. Together, we can make a difference and inspire entire communities to grow, thrive and succeed with Ata’a.”
This year’s Ata’a campaign was launched during Oman Oil Marketing Company’s annual iftar, where the inception and core values of the initiative were also detailed. Over the past two years, the Ata’a campaign has provided students and underprivileged communities with a strong influx of financial support to achieve growth. Previously, Ata’a donations supported initiatives by Dar Al Ata’a and Oman Autism Society.
As strong believers in the power of corporate social responsibility to make a difference in peoples’ lives, the Ata’a campaign has spearheaded the company’s commitment to humanitarian causes in recent years. Leading by example since its inception in 2003, Oman Oil Marketing Company has also developed a diverse range of charitable initiatives and campaigns that have helped thousands of people in local communities at home and abroad.
